Please read carefully before booking with Planet Shine Tours

We encourage all travelers to read and understand these Terms and Conditions before making a booking with Planet Shine Tours. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by the terms listed below. These conditions ensure transparency, safety, and mutual understanding between you (the traveler) and us (the service provider).

1. Our Contract

All bookings are made with Planet Shine Tours (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. Your booking will be deemed confirmed once we issue a confirmation invoice via email or message.

2. Deposit Requirement

A deposit may not be required unless otherwise specified for a particular tour or customized package. In cases where deposits apply, the amount and due date will be communicated at the time of booking.
If you book within 60 days of the departure date, full payment is required to confirm your booking.

3. Payments

All payments must be made in the name of Planet Shine Tours via our secure online payment system, UPI, or direct bank transfer.
Your booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment. Please ensure accurate details while making any transaction to avoid delays in confirmation.

4. Prices & Surcharges

Tour prices may vary based on season, availability, and market conditions. We reserve the right to modify pricing due to changes in airfare, fuel costs, taxes, or government regulations. Any increase exceeding 10% of your trip cost entitles you to cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund.
Prices listed on our website are the most updated and final at the time of booking.

5. Traveler Information

To confirm your booking, you must provide complete details including:

Full name (as per ID or passport)
Date of birth
Nationality and ID proof
Contact information
Any pre-existing medical conditions or travel preferences

Failure to provide accurate details may result in cancellation or additional charges.

6. Cancellations by the Traveler

You may cancel your booking by providing written notice via email. The following cancellation policy applies:

Up to 30 days before tour start: Full refund (except safari, train, or flight tickets)
Less than 30 days before tour start: 100% of the tour cost is retained
Luxury hotel packages: Cancellation accepted up to 60 days before start date

Note:

Safari tickets are non-refundable.
Airline and train bookings are subject to the carrier’s cancellation policies.
Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 14 business days of cancellation approval.

7. Cancellation by Us

Planet Shine Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, or safety concerns.
In such cases, you may either:

Reschedule your booking to another available date, or
Receive a full refund (minus unrecoverable vendor costs).

We are not responsible for additional expenses such as visa fees, vaccinations, or non-refundable flight tickets.

8. Booking Amendments

We understand plans may change. Any request to modify a confirmed booking will be considered, subject to availability and applicable administrative charges.

9. Inclusions

Your tour may include:

Arrival and departure transfers
Sightseeing in an air-conditioned vehicle with chauffeur
Accommodation and daily breakfast
All applicable taxes and monument entry fees (as per itinerary)

10. Exclusions

Tour prices do not include:

International or domestic airfares (unless specified)
Personal expenses (laundry, tips, shopping, drinks, etc.)
Travel insurance or medical coverage
Visa fees
Meals not listed in the itinerary
Optional or unscheduled activities
Expenses arising from unforeseen events like strikes or natural calamities

11. Health & Fitness Requirements

All travelers should be in good health to participate in the tour. Certain itineraries may involve walking or outdoor activities.
If you have any medical conditions, please inform us prior to booking.
We reserve the right to decline bookings if a traveler is deemed unfit for the itinerary.

12. Passport, Visas & Travel Documents

Travelers are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas and documents required for their trip. Planet Shine Tours is not liable for any refusal of entry or delays due to incorrect documentation.

13. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. Your policy must cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, loss of belongings, and repatriation. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to departure.

14. Changes to Itinerary

We strive to operate tours as planned but reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, road conditions, or unforeseen events.
If changes are made before departure, you will be notified as soon as possible. Post-departure changes may occur only when necessary for safety or logistical reasons.

15. Limitation of Liability

Planet Shine Tours acts as a facilitator between travelers and third-party vendors such as hotels, airlines, and transport companies.
We are not liable for:

Delays or cancellations caused by third parties
Loss, injury, or damages arising from activities beyond our control
Acts of nature, strikes, or government restrictions

Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific service affected.

16. Optional Activities

Optional activities arranged locally are not included in the tour price. Planet Shine Tours is not responsible for any issues arising from such independent arrangements.

17. Photos & Marketing

By traveling with us, you consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during your trip for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you inform us otherwise in writing prior to departure.

18. Code of Conduct

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

Harassment or abuse (verbal or physical)
Possession or use of illegal substances
Disrespectful behavior towards staff, guides, or locals

Violations may result in immediate termination of the tour without refund.

19. Responsible Travel

At Planet Shine Tours, we encourage sustainable tourism. Respect local cultures, support local businesses, and minimise environmental impact wherever possible.

20. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
