Heritage Rajasthan
A 16-day heritage journey through Rajasthan gives you a real look at India’s royal past. Starting in Delhi, you explore the capital’s lively streets before heading to Agra to see the Taj Mahal in all its detail. From there, Jaipur welcomes you with its pink-washed monuments and historic charm. Pushkar adds a different pace with its temples, narrow lanes, colorful markets, and a chance to head out on a wildlife safari.
The route then moves to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, it’s one of the most scenic stops of the trip. You’ll visit the City Palace, glide across Lake Pichola, and see Jag Mandir sitting calmly on the water. From here, you continue to Rohet Village, where rural Rajasthan and the edges of the Thar Desert offer a quiet, earthy contrast through a desert safari and village experience.
The journey ends in Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Its sandstone fort, winding streets, and sweeping dunes bring everything together, giving you a strong finish to a trip built around culture, history, and Rajasthan’s unmistakable beauty.

1. Do I need a visa to enter India?
Yes. All foreign nationals must obtain a valid Indian visa before arrival.
You can apply for an E-Visa online at the official government portal: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
Processing usually takes 3–4 working days, and the e-visa is valid for 30 days from your arrival date. Remember to carry a printed copy of your approved visa for verification at immigration.

India’s climate varies from tropical in the south to alpine in the north.
The best time to visit most regions is between October and March, when the weather is cool and dry.
North India:

July–August: Humid and rainy
-
September–December: Pleasant days, cool nights

-
April–September: Hot and humid
-
June–November: Heavy rainfall
-
December–March: Warm and pleasant
3. Should I buy a SIM card in India or activate international roaming?
You can do either, but the easiest option is to activate international roaming with your home provider before arrival.
If you prefer local service, Airtel and Vodafone SIMs are widely available at airports and kiosks. Be prepared with passport copies and photos, as activation may take a few hours.
